Jennifer Lopez’s beauty line has dropped
Jennifer Lopez has scrapped her JLo Beauty, her coveted skin care collection. In August, by announcing an imminent launch via her Instagram account, the 51-year-old began the line’s tease online. JLo Beauty’s own Instagram site went live last month, hinting to fans that the line would tap into the famously radiant skin of the music mogul.
Eight skus, six skincare items, a makeup supplement and a make-up skin care hybrid are stars of the JLo Beauty line, with names matching Lopez’s glamorous music career.
- That JLo Glow Multitasking Serum
- That Limitless Glow Multitasking Mask
- That Big Screen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Moisturizer
- That Blockbuster Wonder Cream
- That Hit Single Gel-Creme Cleanser
- That Fresh Take Eye Cream
- That Star Filter Complexion Booster
Lopez is no stranger to a licensing deal-she has had a fruitful run in cosmetics with up to 20 fragrances to put her name to. In 2018, Inglot Cosmetics also tapped her for its 70-skus capsule line. JLo Beauty will be available through jlobeauty.com directly to customers, while Sephora is expected to be revealed as the official retail partner of the brand.
‘I’m a big olive oil person so for me that would be the basis of something that we could start with as far as formulations and things like that. What I went back to was secrets from my mum when I was young, how olive oil was a cure all for your hair, your skin, your nails, your body – it was nature’s magic ingredient. It’s the thing that makes that natural glow.’
