As part of the ongoing New York Fashion Week, designer Ulla Johnson unveiled the Fall Winter 2021.22 collection at Manhattan’s famous David H. Koch Theater at the Lincoln Center. Two unique works for the stage were made by Spanish artist Nacho Carbonell-a large welded metal, mesh and concrete lamp and table. The collection show was performed without an audience, and a fashion film was shown.
“Ulla Johnson’s Fall 2021 collection seeks an internal sense of freedom. Taking a soulful and intuitive journey, Johnson summons a transcendental means of exploration – anticipating a collective moment of togetherness; a defining, pivotal time of wild abandon and reconnection. Optimism and ebullience shine through, unfettered by the current environment.”
