Sentiments SS 2019 – Confetti Mania from Budapest
The Sentiments 19 S/S Confetti Collection is inspired by the creative director’s beloved childhood memories.
A beautiful piece of garment that belonged to the grandmother of Beatrix inspired her to create not just the very first dress design for her Barbie doll at an early age, but also, to take this memory as the core of the current collection.
This particular garment of her grandma was made from a material with white polka dots…and this is where the Sentiments Confetti story has began. Polka dots have always been part of the Sentiments palette, however, this time, the complete concept has been built around this design and theme. All the fabrics and feather accessories chosen for the collection reflect lightness, fun and playfulness, just like the confettis.
Beatrix worked closely with Olga Kondratska, a wonderfully talented contemporary artist on the collection. Together, they created limited edition garments. Olga designed custom made materials for the collection, such as silk and organza – exclusively produced in Como. A beautiful art and fashion collaboration was formed – the Sentiments’ way.
Sentiments has been an appreciated fashion house for over 20 years, well known for luxurious and high quality garments. It was founded by two talented designers, Beatrix Joó and Andor Kovács, and has been run by Beatrix Joó since 2010.
Representatives of the social elite, as well as artists and corporate managers, businesswomen prefer Sentiments bespoke garments. The garments are made for women for whom dressing is a way of self-expression. Sentiments catches the interest of ladies who dare to rise above average and who would like to have an impact in everything they do.
The core design of Sentiments is graceful and clear. This clear design is combined, dressed with sensual and striking details, creating a perfectly unique attire. Each and every Sentiments dress is made from the finest high quality materials in Budapest. Outstanding and mysterious, just like the women who wear them.
The Confetti collection was debute at the Budapest Central European Fashion Week.
